Nought2five
- Brand Identity
- Fabric/Textile Designs
- Style Guidelines
- Website Interface Design & Implementation
nought2five has the most amazing range of items for kids aged zero to five and a stand-out name that says it all. What they needed was a clear brand identity to match.
Our brief was to create a brand to enhance the company’s core proposition, that of high quality, affordable, designer essentials for baby and infant. So, along with the logotype, the brand was given a subduedly playful edge: introducing ‘Otto’, the nought2five creature featured on the banner of the website and promotional material.
The brand needed to work not only across print and online for the website and email alerts, but also packaging and fabric design. Red Creative got involved in developing a range of step-and-repeat textile designs for nought2five’s very own range of bed linen and clothing.
And behind all the fun and games now lies a powerful business engine. The nought2five website is a fully enable e-commerce site with real-time transaction processing and a comprehensive database administration system.
Beautiful Home
- Brand Identity
- Business Stationery
- Website Interface Design & Implementation
Renovating? Looking for some true inspiration? Beautiful Home do consultations on interior design, renovation, colour and furniture that help put your personal stamp on your home.
Beautiful Home were featured in Home Beautiful magazine (June 2008). They briefed us for a simple gallery style webpage to showcase some gorgeous photography – and quickly capitalise on the publicity. The brand was updated to reflect the stylish, simple statements that underpin the design principles of Beautiful Home homes: a scheme of well-chosen colour elements against neutrals, contemporary yet timeless.
Molecular Plant Breeding (MPB) CRC
- Promotional Material
- Stationery Conference Material
- Signage & Banners
- Annual Report
- Newsletters
- Website Interface Design & Implementation
At Red Creative’s first meeting with MPB, they handed us their logo and brand guidelines. (Apparently, it wasn’t that easy being green.) The challenge was to develop the brand consistently across a range of business stationery items, regular newsletters, their website and their annual report.
Red Creative has also been involved in the development of event material and signage for a range of promotional purposes.
MPB’s website features a text-based drop down menu for easy navigation. The final site consists of around 20 pages plus downloadable pdf files; currently, it is easily maintained by the client.
Precinct Hotel
- Naming
- Brand Identity
- Business Stationery
- Menus, Venue Signage
- Copywriting (Print & Web)
- Promotional Material
- Website Interface Design & Implementation
Before our clients even began their takeover of the Old Depot in Swan Street, Richmond, and rebrand it as the newest multifunction venue in Melbourne, they contacted us. We and Incognito Sum worked closely with the team on taking the vision for the venue and developing the name.
Once Precinct Hotel was defined, Red Creative began working on the brand identity: especially when the venue is very multifunctional, the brand identity message could get terribly mixed. Unless it spoke to the consistent high quality experience of every “precinct” at Precinct – the chef’s kitchen, the dining room, the ingenious all-weather courtyard bar, and much, much more – presenting Precinct Hotel as a revitalised, trendsetting venue with whatever you need to match your night and your mood.
Red Creative consulted with the client to ensure that interior design and fitout worked alongside the venue’s identity. As for the Hotel, so too online at www.precincthotel.com.au: we designed the site and promotional copy so that, together with great commissioned photography, the website would show off each facet of the venue as distinct parts of a distinctive whole. Particular emphasis was placed on its potential for functions.
Newfield Institute
- Brand Identity
- Business Stationery
- Promotional Material
Newfield Institute offers a breakout form of coaching methodology – ontological coaching – practised nowhere else in Australia. It is a holistic coaching method, now with a training program leading to diploma, a strongly holistic basis and, unusually, an emphasis on body performance.
Our brief was to create a new brand identity for Newfield Institute that would help convey ontological coaching’s scientific and ideological credibility to potential clients, often from the business world. The logo appropriates fairly traditional “corporate” colours into a fluid wave device that is part-feather, part-graph. It replicates across collateral, training packs and business stationery.
Galerie Montmartre
- Brand Design
- E-Newsletter
- Promotional Business Card – Concept and Design
Red Creative and Galerie Montmartre, specialists in original vintage posters, have had a long, friendly association, which should be no surprise since we’re all passionate about the power and beauty of great visual art. Red Creative worked with Shelley and Stephan on brand design incorporating the bold, bright colours of vintage poster print, and on format, content guidelines and brand voice for their electronic newsletter Affichionado.
When Galerie Montmartre changed from their online and word-of-mouth business model and launched a retail space on funky Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, the challenge was to reflect the expansion in their collateral. They upgraded to a double business card with promotional information inside which cleverly doubles as a mini brochure, and added a DL promotional brochure that doubles as a with compliments slip.
